My Best Friend's Fish
Directed by Alice McKay
I played the role of BFF, a gregarious, peculiar, sandwich-loving talking fish that becomes a friend to Henry, who is apartment sitting for his toxic friend.
I was the puppeteer for BFF from below a table without vision of anything onstage, being able to pick up cues and comedic timing without the advantage of sight. The show consisted of quickly switching puppets as well, for different props and "nightmare" versions of BFF.

For this production of Fish, I created 20 individual fish puppets for multiple species of fish. They were a combination of stick and hand puppets, and I handled them 1-6 at a time (I'm inside the box in this video!)

A Growing Problem

For this show, I handled a weed plant puppet by using 2 sticks to manipulate branches as "arms." I sat inside a box (similar to the fish tank box above) to move the plant's arms from below.
Maypearl (AEA, World Premiere)

I was the puppet choreographer and puppeteer for 2 tabletop marionette puppets, as well as the AV Technician for the world premiere virtual production of Maypearl, written and directed by Tlaloc Rivera.
I played the role of Minky in this production, a sock monkey who has come to life. I cut and sewed a sock monkey stuffed animal into a hand puppet that could also be manipulated by a stick attached to one arm.
